Shadana is a Consultant and HR Business Partner with Compass Workforce Solutions.  She has a Masters of Science in Human Resources Education from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts in Justice from American University.  She is a dynamic and accomplished Human Resources Leader, with over 25 years of experience leading and implementing a blend of strategic and tactical human resources and key business initiatives for industry leaders, including Grey Group and Guardian News & Media.   She has worked across industries such as advertising agencies, publications (newspapers and magazines), sales, public relations and non-profits.

Shadana has been the strategic leader responsible for reimagining a company’s people function, culture, structure, and policies across multi-site and global organizations.  She has developed and implemented efficient guidelines and processes using proven conceptual and analytical problem-solving strategies.  She has played a key role in developing and implementing best practices and strategies that advance a company’s efforts to be a high-performance organization fueled by a skilled and engaged workforce.

Shadana has built and maintained productive relationships with key stakeholders and C-Suite executives, leveraging interpersonal and communication skills to foster long-term relationships across organizations.  She has been responsible for providing leadership and advisory services to organizations regarding various human resources topics including, but not limited to, executive coaching, employee engagement, employee relations, talent acquisition and retention, benefits and compensation, organizational change management, payroll, compliance, HRIS, labor relations, training and development, diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and mobility (domestic and international).
