HR Interns – Fall 2023
Looking for an opportunity to gain hands on experience in the marketing field? Join our dynamic team that values fresh ideas and creativity!
This position is Part-Time. Interns must be able to complete a semester internship for 3 Academic Credits. Interns may be considered for regular full-time and part-time opportunities after completion of their internship.
Interns will assist with:
- Posting on Social Media platforms including Linked In, Facebook and Instagram company website, and company’s Google page.
- Supporting the filming, writing scripts, editing, and posting engaging content/reels for Social Media platforms and company website in partnership with our VA and Administrative Services Manager.
- Promoting, photographing, organizing, and preparing for events, meetings, webinars or Continuing Professional Education (CPE) seminars.
- Interns may support CWS at business meetings and events on Long Island or virtually.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualified candidates will typically:
- Be enrolled in college pursuing a bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related fields, having completed 4 or more semesters with demonstrated marketing coursework.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be detailed oriented.
- Have familiarity with marketing strategies.
- Have 1 year of related work experience in an office setting or marketing position preferred.
- Provide examples of SM work or a portfolio of projects from school or work experience.
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), Adobe Acrobat, WordPress, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other Social Media platforms.
Work Location: 330 Motor Parkway, Suite 303, Hauppauge, NY with occasional visits onsite with clients.
Work Schedule: Part-time between the hours of 8:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Interns must work between 12-20 hours per week.
Compensation: This is a paid opportunity at $16.00 per hour. Interns must be able to complete a semester internship for 3 Academic Credits.
